The University of Houston is a premier Tier One campus that provides students with cutting edge programs including undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, distance and continuing education. U of H Continuing Studies is a program within the University of Houston designed to provide professionals with opportunities to grow their skill set and advance in their careers.
UH has many different departments of study and has reached out to Keystone Resources to help in multiple divisions. The Department of Economics wanted a four-page brochure to inform students about the masters and doctoral programs in this field. The Department of Continuing Studies at UH had Keystone Resources create multiple hand out brochures for different areas in that field. These included project management PMP exam preparation, paralegal studies and test prep for GMAT, GRE and LSAT.
For The Department of Economics, we created the handout to be designed like an infographic, highlighting important information that will make it quick and easy to understand the difference between the programs. The hand out includes recent graduate placements, graduate testimonials and short bios of the professors in the field, giving a prospective student a great insight to the programs.
The Project Management brochure for The Department of Continuing Studies at UH, features a beautiful photo of UH with the Houston skyline in the back on the front cover. Inside goes into an overview of the program, what the program offers, statistics about the job field and testimonials from former students. The back breaks down the two areas of the program and discusses financing, information sessions and corporate training. This brochure is professional looking, utilizing the darker colors of the UH brand.
The Paralegal handout is more playful, showing an image with a red overlay on the front. Inside there are icons with short descriptions of the steps needed to become a paralegal and the training you will receive. There is also a student testimonial, as well as a faculty bio. This brochure uses the bright red and yellow of the UH brand with the green as an accent color. The Test Prep manual breaks down the three exams (LSAT, GMAT and GRE) into course features, course details and pricing. This is designed very simply in order for the viewer to absorb the information quickly and effectively. The use of icons and bright colors, along with little text, allows for the easiest understanding of each exam, allowing for a choice to be made quickly and concisely.
